How is it wrong to want to keep from being typecast? That’s exactly the point people like Charisma Carpenter, David Boreanaz and Sarah Michelle Gellar are trying to drive home. It was fun for them and it really helped them get noticed, but they do need to put a little distance between them and the roles that made them famous, lest they suffer the same fate as the cast of the original Star Trek. Chances are, they won’t ever match the popularity they found with the Buffyverse, but they can’t really be blamed for trying, can they? Charisma and all the others involved in BtVS and ANGEL (...)
