Mediaweek had different (slightly higher - 1.5/2 as opposed to 1.2/2 last week) numbers. It’s funny, you can tell the leanings (pro or con JM/Spike) of different Jossverse sites by which numbers they post.Tuesday 23 November 2004, by Hallie : did anyone try to watch the mountain? it was AWFUL. i’d taped it (desperate housewives was on!), and i basically fast-forwarded through every scene that didn’t have james in it. at least now i know that i’d been correct in avoiding it up ’til now. i wish he’d just go make movies already. seriously, he could be an arthouse superstar. it seems as if his agent’s just relying on his teen-demographic-pulling goodness. we already know the depth and range he can pull off. he probably has a bigger adult fanbase than people think. so bank on it already!Tuesday 23 November 2004, by Patpaws : I do find this a bit amusing as James fan were so sure that his appearance would up the ratings of The Mountain. Sorry folks one actor does make it work it’s a combination of many things. But I did my fair share and suffer through it. But, anyway, I loved seeing him even just for a few minutes.
