Plum deal for scribe
(Variety) - The WB is looking to turn Plum Sykes’ bestselling novel "Bergdorf Blondes" into a comedic drama series.
Debut novel from Vogue contributing editor Sykes recently spent four months on the New York Times bestseller list. Novel takes a slightly satiric glimpse inside the world of New York’s rich girls.
Frog has picked up a script based on the book. Warner Bros. TV will produce the hourlong project, with Karey Burke and Jamie Tarses on board as exec producers. (...)
