At least she has the conviction to stand up against the Nazi Republican Party. All of you religious lemmings keep following Bush off the cliff, because that is exactly where the U.S. is headed.

I’ve never been more embarrassed to be an American than during this sham of a Presidency. Bush is using religion to manipulate the abundance of ignorant citizens in the country. Shame on all of you for taking it up the ass on a regular basis... enjoy your higher taxes now, too, thanks to your pathetic leader.

You should be asking "Who the hell is Matt Bai?"

I’m really, really, REALLY not a Bush fan (his last name says enough about him - the man is actually a complete beaver of a bush of a vagina) but there is absolutely no point having an arguement between two opposing sides anymore.

Bush is a twat. But he won, so it’s too late to do anything about it. I’m really not in favour of this article at all, coz, ya know, "Who is Matt Bai?"...but no one (except my immediate predecesor) is winning my approval either. Using the phrase "Taking it up the ass" doesnt exactly show your anti-"Nazi republican" side. Next time, dont use anal sex references in a negative way.

You might offend someone.

Other than that, my friend, i am completely utterly 100%, no doubt, officially, undoubtedly on your side.

The man should be either taken out and shot (least of all for his selfish ignorance regarding the help needed in asia after the tsunami), or should at least learn the proper word for Spanish people...*pfft* "Spainish" indeed. It astounds me that despite the fact the guy’s an idiot who can’t speak correctly, is so "Be American and be Christian or we kill you" (especially when he’s only a "born again"), and is an ex-drink-driver/drug-user, and STILL got voted in for a second term.

I don’t mean this to all of you, just the select, but COME ON!!! ARE YOU PEOPLE COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR FUCKING NUT?!

*ahem* And my rant is complete...

Just a quick note on this article. I wonder if the reporters, any of them actually, that covered the election, noticed Alyson Hannigan’s Kerry&Edwards For Presidency Badge. She, along with her husband, Alexis Denisoff, and fellow Angel cast member Andy Hallet were all spotted and photographed wearing the Kerry&Edwards candidate badges.

I’m not even American, and I noticed that. Heck, I don’t like my own government, let alone the Bush one, I’m a democrat, and, even though, the Kerry/Edwards party conceeded defeat, I admire them for their opinions on certain issues which the Bush Government is against. So, for those that are all anti-Kerry&Edwards, I’d like to point out, if Bush knew that he was about to lose, would he have backed down so graciously? I highly doubt it.

Using the words "taking it up the ass..." was intentional because of the intolerant views of the fascist Republican Party. I find it amusing that such an intolerant and biggoted group of homophobes is getting screwed over... and their own worst fear / hidden desires would be taking it up the ass.

I am a gay woman in the "United" States who knows first-hand of the prejudice against homosexuals. After all, Bush won the election by simply mentioning gay marriage and abortion, even though those issues will fall by the wayside now that the election is over.

I chose my words intentionally because I saw some comical irony, and still do, with the feeble-minded lemmings who vote based on religous issues bearing no relevance in politics. I choose to view it as such, otherwise I find it overwhelmingly difficult to continue to stand up against the widespread ignorance and intolerance in these so-called "United" States.
