I feel your pain. Australians are also subjected to such horrible TV programming. Buffy debuted in ’97 on a Friday night, then was thrown around until it finally landed at a 10:30pm timeslot. I wrote to the channel to ask why it was on so late and they told me it was because of its violent/sexual content. Mind you this was around the 2nd or 3rd season. Then Angel also suffered a bad debuting timeslot of 10:30pm. And don’t get me started on Firefly. You’d never guess what time the first episode here aired. 12:30am. Yep...not only so ridiculously late, but they also played Serenity, Part II (...)
