Alphas has been cancelled. The outlook hadn't been good for the Syfy series, which had wrapped up its second season back in October with no word on its fate since. Today, it was confirmed it wouldn't be coming back for a third season, with cast members speaking out on Twitter.

Syfy's Alphas has lined up a slew of guest stars for Season 2, including cult favorite Summer Glau, The Lord of the Rings vet Sean Astin and NCIS‘ Lauren Holly.
