I don’t know who the interviewer was, but saying season six is as good as season two? Yeah ok. You have the Angel arc (greatest story arc in all of TV history) vs. magicrack.

Yeah...

that’s the beauty of it, everyone has their own opinion.

HAHAHAHAHA everyone knew about season 7 being the last. Shame he took years to say this publically. Also everyone has the right to an opinion but HAHAHAHA at season 6 being as good as the immortal season 2.

It is an opinions thing which I think alot of people forget. The very definition of what * mature* behavior actually is, is one of the big issues people who love or hate season 6 have. I personallu can live and let live easily. Just as long as Im not treated as some idiot that didnot *get the obvious genius* of season 6 just because its not my favorite. Sad how that destroyed the fandom, I dont even feel comfortable meeting BTVS fans for fear of arguements.

Season 6 was the best season!!!! The only episode that wasn’t that good was doublemeat palace. Other then that season 2 and season 6 ARE the best seasons. The people who don’t like season 6 simply don’t get it.

Its comments like * simply dont get it* that bring the hatred for season 6 to me. You can *get* something and just prefer something esle. That comment deplays unbelieveable intellectual snobbery that is totally uncalled for. It doesnot take deep intellectual thought to understand what season 6 was trying to do.

Yes you’re right and it’s not my favourite season either - that honour belongs to season three although season seven runs it close (don’t all shoot me at once people). However if the "you didn’t get it" arguement exists it’s because so many of people seem to voice the opinion at the Buffyverse "lost" it then the scoobies left high school or after Buffy died in "The Gift" which I just get so tired of hearing because I don’t believe it. It does sometimes feel as though some folks have no idea of what the final two seasons were trying to do and just dissmiss them as rubbish accordingly.

I suppose what I’m trying to say is that I see that not all people who don’t think season six was the best deserved to have their opinions dismissed as "you didn’t get it" but you have to understand why some people will give that line if you seen to be slagging off season six by them even if that was not your intention.

I do sometimes get depressed by the split between the early seasons were all great whilst the later ones sucked and the latter seasons had so much depth that you don’t get in earlier seasons camps - neither are entirely right nor entirely wrong.

I accept the broad range of opinion but I don’t like bald statements expressed with an implied contempt for the other side.
