That sucks. I know everyone is talking about how much they want to see a Spike movie but I’d rather see Willow.

Just tell me what the hell happened in that alley! I sort of don’t get the delay on the Spike movie b/c all the pieces seem to be in place for Tim Minear, James and Amy anyway (unless it’s b/c Fox is sitting on its ass, as usual). And everyone knows the clock is ticking on James’s face (his words). I know there’s all this hoopla about the network merger but if they have half a brain, they know this’d be a huge hit (at least for them). And Fox oughta know the DVD would be for them as well. I was optimistic 6 months ago, but I’m less so now. That’s the problem with corporations determining what we watch. They’re the only ones who can finance this sort of expensive project, but then when you have a only a niche market success, they won’t plop down the fairly modest dough required to make outstanding television (or features for that matter) b/c it isn’t "sufficiently profitable." Of course it’s not, it’s a niche market thing. Then you’re left with the wasteland that is American tv and feature cinema.

I would take a Spike movie, Willow movie...hell at this point I’d take an Andrew or Clem movie. I just don’t see it happening though. I think Buffyverse as we knew it is gone forever....

The person who said the buffyverse its gone forever is so wrong, i mean its the most stupid thing i’ve ever heard, because like a month ago new dvds came out new action figures are coming out this year, new comics by darkhorse and joss is really considering doing a Spike movie he’s just working some things out, all we need its a little faith you know buffy will never die if the fans dont die buffy wont die either smg says shes willing to be on a buffy movie big screen movie only if the script is great and, and that what all of the other cast member has said so have a little faith, and wait a little becuase sooner than later buffy will be back.ç Sorry for bad english.

That sucks - its like Whedon is desperately trying to prove to the world that hes not a one-trick pony....but in doing so, hes stopped doing his best trick...the one that made us fall in love with him in the first place. I miss the buffyverse..... :(
