I can’t believe they axed Angel for repeats the w.b really wants to lose it’s viewers. The only reason my 2 older children and I watch the w.b is for angel.

If the WB needs reruns so much, how do they explain last summer’s lack of Angel season 5 reruns. Many times, summer repeats are when shows pick up new fans but only three were shown.

How about the President of the WB listening to the fans that Angel HAS,and resign from his post. What could this man be thinking,Instead of giving the show the time it needs to wrap up the current storylines everything is now going to be crushed into the remaining few episodes. From what I’ve read about Mr Levin’s remarks he keeps mentioning the core following of fans that Angel Had,Mr Levin the fans of this show have not given up on it. I would be very Interested in knowing how Charmed is doing in the Ratings,But i guess as long as you get your weekly dose of T&A it doesn’t really matter what they are.

Now you may think that i have a bad outlook on the WB,the fact is I don’t even get it where I live,my local Fox station picks up WB shows and I’ll admit I enjoy some of the shows.

But how can you keep shows like 7th heaven,Charmed,One Tree Hill & Gilmore Girls still on the air. Have all the shows that i have just mentioned kept a steady flow of viewers,if Angel is one of your veteran shows what would you call 7th heaven, Tv for the seniors???. Angel could have had at least 3 more yrs in it,but thanx to some really stupid reasoning I guess we’ll never know.

Thank you Mr Levin for killing one of, if not the best shows your company will ever produce. When the time comes and you have to cancel Dark Shadows, just remember it’s because of all the Angel fans that YOU dissapointed, as a barely breathing company, you sir have just cut out the Heart of your Network.

sincerely Angelus Fan.

Why would anyone want to put repeats in place of Angel on WB? Especially another vampire show. im telling you now, i have seen many a vampire show/movie and nothing compares to Angel. I dont give a damn if Angel is kept by WB or not, as long as someone picks it up. I live in Australia, and i have seen every episode of Angel so far, and they are about 12 episodes behind the states. Also (with reference to another article) Joss Whedon, i think, is incapable of bringing Angel into a sixth season with poor story lines, i mean if he has managed to write over 5 years of BOTH Angel AND Buffy, then how can anyone say that Joss is writing poorer quality episodes. OK, so the earlier material was top notch, butall Joss needs, in my mind, is one more season to wrap it up, i mean come on, the shows cancellation came at a time when the majority of the scripts were written for season 5, leaving close to 5 epidodes to finish the season, and to WB, the entire series, ONE MORE SEASON i mean COME ON, what does it take for people to pick up on a show, whos fan base goes beyond that of the television and even the show. (what i mean is that watching Angel has opened up the world of Vampires to people, its exciting to see the similarities that Joss brings to the home theatre that are in films such as Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Anne Rice’s novels like ’The Vampire Lestat’-and interview with a vampire. its gone from a show to a cult practically. I dont see such things like that for shows such as charmed, but that may just be because they are terrible. People may agree or disagree with what i have to say, i seriously dont care, just keep Angel going for a last ’wrap up’ season please.

I watched the original Dark Shadows, I watched the remake starring Ben Cross, but I won’t be watching the new one if the WB gets rid of Angel. Angel is the only show on the WB I still watch, and it used to be my favorite network.

I’m curious about this implied boycott of this replacement vampire show - it’s not really an issue for me, as I live pretty much on the other side of the world, but there would be a certain rich irony if the W.B.’s new show failed because they pissed off their own demographic. Still, alienating the audience seems to be the new style in the corporate U.S. - look at the RIAA. Can the people in charge really be so mind-numbed as this?

This makes no sense, so lets fight back there is no reason to be nice to the WB on this one. I have stated in other places as fans its time to show that sinse they have already cancelled it they should suffer. Drop their sponsers, loudly announce to the press that they have lost their effectiveness to be a marketing tool by not understanding their market.

This is a business and they just made an unpopular move so lets punish them by making sure their money suppliers don’t supply them money anymore.

This is totally ridiculous, cancel "Angel" to make room for repeats. Why not canceling "Charmed" whose only purpose is to show off Alyssa Milano prancing in crappy tight outfits to make room for reruns.

It seems that boycott is the only way to go. Not just boycott the repeats, but the WB as well

WB know that Angel and Buffy have a huge fan base all over the world from trading cards to dvd’s Buffy and Angel is a huge franchise. What I belive is that they want to create something "in House" so they can benifit imagine if Angel was the WB’s creation they would make alot of money. Yes this season of Angel hasnt been that great and the season b4 wasnt that good either but now with Spike in the mix the episodes are getting better.

Having Cordy go was a big mistake and introducing that Ugly Brat Conner was a mistake also, as if Angels son would look like that I HATE CONNER and I beleive that he is a big reason for the shows decline. Angel has got to comfortable with the shows success he has let himself go put on weight and it shows.

If someone picks up the series Joss has to pull his head in and get some better writers. The show can get new veiwers but it has to be done properly at the moment there is to many lead roles in Angel and its getting to confusing. I love Angel dont get me wrong but Big Changes have to be made if they do get picked up for a 6th season.

One thing us fans can do is not watch WB anymore if we all stick together and boycott WB they will have no choice but to give in.
