Right on! All good pointers fro the loonies running the show(s). Especially "When you find something good, stick with it," why find something new when you have what works?

Here, here! I blame this glut of ’reality’ show junk on that terrible ’Survivor’ show. Let’s have television, by-and-large, (let’s accept the fact there is a segment of the viewing public who like such shows) get back to telling stories. I’d especially appreciate shows which acknowledge the fact that there is life after 40 (I’m 33 BTW). Adventures, Mysteries, Suspense, regular people in unsual situations,etc.. I’m really not interested in shows about Doctors, Lawyers or Police Officers. There are more than enough of those now. Angel was a good show that wasn’t afraid of being different. It was challenging to watch and it will be sorely missed. Of course, if someone really wanted to save it (wink, wink) or air a Spike spinoff, I certainly wouldn’t be averse to the idea (nudge, nudge) !

Right there with you. Think I’ll be taking W68’s link fest and mailing Joss a few ideas. Not that I think he needs them.

But I think he needs to HEAR them. We’re the reason he’s doing these shows, let’s let him know we still want him to make them.

Actually, Spike be damned, I’ll take anything from the Whedonverse. If he can take a bunch of people we mostly never heard of before (how many of us were in love with Alyson Hannigan and James Marsters before Buffy?) and turn them into cult icons once, he can do it again. I mean c’mon. Who ever even /heard/ of Nathan Filion, and now he’s going to be a movie star... And to me, he’ll always be the guy that poked out Xander’s eye.

All else aside, we need more, NEED more, NEED MORE TV in the style of Buffy and Angel, with the vampires, and that cool crunch noise they make when their faces change, and the dusting.

Can we just have a show called "Slayers"? Would that work?
