I have never watch Angel episode so ready to be disaponted as this Weds. When I saw ""Farm & Cradt as the writters, I was not excited. Sorry, but their work has not been the best on the show.

“Supersymmetry” was average. Nothing good or bad. I liked giving some closure for Fred, find out just why she was sent to Pylia, and by who. Cause portals don’t open by themselves, an answer was not need, but welcomed by me. And it was about time we put some strife in her relationship with Gunn. How long could they be happy together? She was only with him to make Wesley’s character darker, getting driven away from the group, so he would make the ultimate betrayal.

From there, their stories went down hill

"Souless" was a good episode, but they had a plot to work with. "Realease" was pretty good, but again working with a plot laid out.

"Shinny Happy People" was their low point, making what I feel was the altime worst Angel episode.

"Unleashed" was another alright episode. I liked it, but it was definalty one of the low points of the season. It is important to note that the episodes both before & after it were very strong plots. "Just Rewards" & "Life Of The Party were really good episodes.

"Harm’s Way" was a cute episode. However whil I liek the episode, I must point it out as the low point of the season. Harmoney was not a main character, heck she doesn’t even have a soul. Personally we fans didn’t care if she lived or died.

Now onto "Underneath." Defiantly their best story yet. But not only their best, one of the best of the season, and that’s saying alot with the episodes it needs be compaired to.

So it may not be as enjoyable as the spectaculat 100th episode "You’re Welcome," or the creative "Smile Time," but it is at the top. Probably in the top 50 or so Angel episodes.

Seems they began and ended with their highest notes. More apropriate, however, is that, that they end (if this is the end) at the top of their game.
