Friday 23 April 2004, by UKFAN :

Sky TV is run by Rupert Murdoch who owns FOX, so he has some influence in these matters.

If this fantastic deal does go through and the WB renew angel for a 6th season will that mean as sky will be paying part of the production costs that It would have the rights to show angel at the same time as the WB?

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!

Friday 23 April 2004, by Eduardo Albuquerque :

That’s fantabulous! The Save ANgel Campaign must now bombard even more other networks mentioning that and right away send stuff to thank SKY TV!!!

It’s WAY too nice to see an English station making a difference to Angel and Buffy fans. Sure, it plays the episodes, but this just RULES. And if Fox takes it up. . . well. . . .am I the only non-American to boycott WB? (Though I do anyway, seeing as I don’t have it here in Engand) but what do you all think?

Friday 23 April 2004, by Naomi :

That’s an awesome idea. We should thank SkyTV for their support and let them know we’ll do anything we can to help. Can anyone out there provide us with an address and a plan, please?

I think SKY have just become my hero’s!

My subscription charges don’t seem quite as bad now!

Saturday 24 April 2004, by Anonymous :

I’m an Angel british viewer I really hope sky can find another network to tie up with.

I hate to rain on the parade but I think this is unlikely. David Boreanaz seems relieved it’s over and his contract is up so he’s unlikely to go for it. If they continued the series without Angel or with him as only a guest star it’s possible, however. If that was the case I suppose they would have to change the name though...

My heart just stopped when I read this, could I dare to believe it? Any hope is better then none. SKYTV ROCKS!!! Thankyou from the bottom my heart!!!!!!! My fingers are crossed, love the idea about a thankyou campaigne to SkyTv.

Saturday 24 April 2004, by Annelies :

yes that would be super!!!!! now wb you really should reconsider your decision?

Saturday 24 April 2004, by Anonymous :

Not loveing the past tense, maybe it’s just me or dose this sound more like Sky offered and couldn’t get it to work? Either way I love Sky! Even if all they did was offer it shows that they at least listen to their viewers and fans of the show.

Saturday 24 April 2004, by Wolverine68 :

I’m movin` to England! LOL This would be great. Finally a network that knows good TV.

By the way, someone said Boreanez was reliazed it’s over. That’s not true, he said he would like to do this show for years to come.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON’T LIVE IN THE UK...LIKE ME!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE ANGEL AND IT’S NOT FAIR TO PEOPLE HERE IN THE US IF ANGEL ONLY PLAYS IN ENGLAND!!!

Sunday 25 April 2004, by Kay :

I live in the UK! It’d be great to get some proper good telly before you Americans :P (no offence)

Sunday 25 April 2004, by neil :

Well done sky!!! :D

Monday 26 April 2004, by Angelus :

IM IN THE UK, U RULE SKY ONE!!!!!!!!!

Monday 26 April 2004, by ringu6 :

Yes Sky Tv is great for doing that. I live in the US and even if they pick up the show it would be a little bit before it plays here. But honestly I really wouldnt care how long it took because as long as they dont totaly take off the Buffy universe from the world ill be happy.

Tuesday 27 April 2004, by Carmine :

I will believe it whe I see it. On a lighter note after years of you guys getting Buffy and Angel first surely it’s time for us Brits to have a go?
