My girls & I miss Angel ,we watch the re-runs and we get every series when they come out, but it wasn’t time for Angel to end. I sat in my chair the night of the last nighyt and cried, my 2 daughters would not watch the show because they said it was just to hard to watch it when Buffy was over. I wish that they would bring Angel back and Buffy back. But I guess it will only will be a wish.

To answer one loose end, how did they get out of the expletive deleted alley?

I’ve been considering attempting to write something about that.

Angel showed up for Buffy’s final showdown with Evil. Wouldn’t Buffy show up for his? Something like this...

Just as things look their worst in the battle, Angel beheads a demon, to see Buffy standing behind it. In shock he drops his sword, standing slack jawed.

"Aw come on, didn’t think you could have an Apocolypse without me did you?" Buffy asks.

"How did you know?" asks a confused Angel.

"The Immortal knows people at Wolfram and Hart, he told me what was going down...tried to get me to stay out of it, said it wasn’t my fight...I told him if he didn’t understand why I have to be here, then he doesn’t understand me."

"You shouldn’t be here" replies Angel.

"I brought friends...don’t worry, I was a good Girl Scout, I came prepared." Turning to the side, Buffy points to the back of the alley, where an army of potential Slayers, now awakened and fully able to slay demons, stands, equiped for battle. Lead by Kennedy they charge into the fray, cutting a path through the army of Wolfram and Hart with little difficulty.

I’d go on more, but I think you get the idea...I’m not sure if Gunn lives or dies yet...Willow may be there to save him, or possibly the introduction of a new character to the Angelverse that I’ve kicked around. I know that the book will never get published, or even read, probably, but it’s still fun to write.

To answer your question about tipping the balance, killing the members of the black thorn would only restore the balance. Up until this point evil was winning. Knocking them down a peg would help restore the balance and bring good back on top.
