Holy Joss-sticks Batman, that is KICKASS! I hated X-Men 1, LOVED X-MEN 2, and I am THERE for X-Men 3 if Whedon is going to write AND direct this movie!

Wait, a Critters 5 and 6? I absolutely love the original, 2 had its moments but still disappointing, 3 completely sucked ass, and 4 was only better than Part 3 (though, I’m still pissed about what they senselessly did to the Ug character). If this is true, I can only hope they go back to creating a good balance between horror and humour again, instead of making the once scary Crites nothing more than a childish source of stupid cartoonish jokes. I’d like to see Terrence Mann and Don Keith Opper again. Are they even going to continue where part 4 left off, or are they going in a different direction in terms of continuity? I’m kind of hoping for the latter because I wouldn’t mind having the latter two films written over. Or is this even going to be remotely related to any of the four films?

Oh, and I hear something about Joss writing and directing some X-Men movie? Eh.

I’m not placing much credemce in this so called "source" . My Reason? It makes too much sense. Since when do film companies have any sense?

When a friend told me that Brian Synger had stepped down from X-Men to do Superman, I was crushed. I was left hoping that there was someone who would treat the franchise with as much respect and care as Brian did. And Joss IS that someone.

They need someone with taste to do the next one. They are kind of heading into territory which can get...hokey if not done correctly. Space, Shiar, Hellfire Club. If they use any of those at all. I suppose the Hellfire Club members can be turned into rich socialites instead of turn of the century reenactors. But the aliens and stuff, if done with the correct handling, would be okay too.

All i know is Phoenix on the big scren = a whole case of Whoopass!!!
