I always knew Whedon was a good guy, I’d like to read a transcript of the event. It IS an event right?

Yeah ... how dare he have an opinion. Only us loser who post on these talk backs are supposed to have opinions!!

Isn’t it interesting how everyone is entitled to their opinion, unless they are famous? Is it because people can actually hear what someone is saying? Famous or not, everyone should be allowed to voice their thoughts. I thought that was one of our freedoms.

The X-Men is more important than this election. I care much more what will hapen to them then some Pompus (probably spelled that wrong, don’t care) windbags in Washington.

Woah, Kerry Lies your rude. Joss and any other human being on earth is allowed their own opinion. Like your crap right there thats your opinion. Aw you all butt hurt because Joss doesnt like your preferred candidate? Famous or not famous, he has a right to an opinion. we all do and I for one am very interested in what he has to say, you dont have to agree with him. Just be open minded... sidenote that thing he said about "let freedom ring, unless its on vibrate" just reassures me how clever this guy is! God I miss his work being on TV

I say "Bravo" Joss Whedon for caring enough about our democractic institutions and traditions to give his time and efforts for this project. My only sorrow is that I could not attend one of the parties. And if there is any kind of mindless parrot talk - a great deal of it is being prattled by - well, we won’t go there. Suffice to say that I have a great regard for Joss Whedon and Both Johns.

But there is a difference. Let’s face it, if Joss Whedon or a bunch of Hollywood-types were killed in a terrorist attack, how bad would our infrastructure be damaged? Not much. The guy working at the oil plant has a lot more to worry about. The price of being a rich liberal is that you don’t have to worry because no one is really aiming for you.

Look, I’m all for people having an opinion. That’s fine. But when celebs, which includes Joss (when more than 10 bigwigs in Hollywood know your name, you’re a celeb), start acting like their money and fame have all of a sudden have brought them such enlightenment and they must educate our plebian minds, that’s when I get angry. Joss hasn’t done that PER SE, but he is surrounded by too many of those types. Like I said before, if your vote is based on what some celebrity said (liberal OR conservative), either read about the issues or don’t vote.
