All Michelle is saying is that she’s cautious of the potential that a Buffy film has of not working.

In addition she’d want to work with juicier material pertaining to Dawn as a woman instead of a stroppy teenager.

More power to her... she was the best thing in Euro Trip, and I hope she has a bright and productive future.

Buffy and Angel always mved in real time anyway, so Dawn would be a woman now of college age. So she has nothing to worry about. As far as not doing sequels, she’ll change her mind if the scripts don’t come in.

Well honestly I wouldn’t want her in a Buffy movie anyway, she was the most annoying character on the show.

I hate to be negative here, but I have to agree with Amy. All Dawn ever did was get kidnapped. Say what you want about Connor, but at least his character had a more dramatic arc.

Michelle is right. Just repeating what she did earlier with Dawn would be a waste, she’s a good actress and can do a lot more than stand around being rescued (S5, early S6) or ignored (the rest of the run). The same could be said with Buffy herself, Willow, Giles, and Xander.

JMHO, any Buffy movie would require growth and change for all the characters, and fun likeable characters again. I would not mind at all seeing a finally adult Buffy, with an even more mature Dawn, Giles, and Xander. Michelle had amazing chemistry with Sarah, Nick, and Tony, so that would work out well. I think she has a lot of talent and would really help make any Buffy movie.
