Their exec. was asked by the TV guide guy if they can’t do an Angel movie, why not a Spike tv movie. To which the WB exec. got excited and said wow, we never thought of that, that is a possibility....or something like that.Thursday 19 May 2005, by Captain Peroxide : A little harsh to say "NO SPIKE SERIES FOR YOU" especially since Joss and James are only just talking about it and nothing firm is in place yet, nor will be for a while. Chances are Spike will begin as a TV movie and hopefully go on to resurrect the Whedonverse’s flagship genre. But if it does it’ll be in a year or two at the earliest. So if you feel like rubbing it in our faces, as the title of this piece implies, wait until there’s something to rub.
