Are you people complete tards? The Buffy Season 6 scenes were about her character’s downward spiral. The whole season was about people losing control of their lives and selves and about self-destructive behavior. Buffy post-heaven felt like she was in hell, and so constantly wanted out. Life’s hard enough to deal with without having bliss to compare it to. Because she is a strong character, she despised herself for her weakness, much as she loathed Spike.
