I agree with ThisTime. Buffy was Joss’ vision. Even if most of the fans think is "meandered" in Season 7, it went where it did with Joss’ blessing. If he didn’t like where it was going, it wouldn’t have gone there. I like SMG & I love Buffy, but I think saying that "maybe I should have, ’cause then we wouldn’t have got so lost" is a little egotistical. From what I’ve heard about Joss, he doesn’t take direction from actors as to where their character should go.
