Firefly

To celebrate next week’s release of Serenity, The Numbers is holding what we believe is our most confusing contest yet. The winner will receive an official T-Shirt and a Cap.

Six Degrees of Serenity is a simple game. For each show given you must figure out the connection between it and Firefly. Either one of the regular cast members (Morena Baccarin, Adam Baldwin, Nathan Fillion, Ron Glass, Summer Glau, Sean Maher, Jewel Staite, Gina Torres, and Alan Tudyk) had an guest shot on the show in question, or one of the stars of that show had a guest shot on Firefly.

To give a couple of examples:

If you’re asked to find the connection between Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer first check out the cast members to see if they ever had a guest appearance in that show. Morena Baccarin... nope. Adam Baldwin... nope. Nathan Fillion ... yep, he played Caleb on five episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The next TV series is St. Elsewhere. Checking the cast, it appears none of them had a guest shot on that show, so let’s check the cast list for St. Elsewhere. Ed Begley Jr. ... nope. Howie Mandel ... nope. Bonnie Bartlett ... yep, she played Patience in Serenity part 2.
