PREP UP FOR SERENITY WITH A FULL DAY OF THE CULT TV SHOW!

SPECIAL CHINESE MENU! LEARN TO SWEAR IN CHINESE, TOO!

SUNDAY 9/18 NOON TO 1 AM

Joss Whedon is the King Midas of genre entertainment. Just a single touch of his fingers can turn what could have been the worst idea ever into the kind of appointment television that just doesn’t exist for fans of fantasy or sci-fi or horror. A teenage girl who fights vampires and complains about her homework? A western set in space where they actually have to herd cattle? And yet somehow the characters he paints and the dialogue he writes for them keep us coming back more and more until were finally caught preaching our love to all of our disbelieving friends who cant seem to get over how preposterous the concept sounds. But screw those people, because we have been converted and now that we see the light we just want to bathe in it as much as we can. This September FIREFLY is getting the rarest of rare treatment for a cancelled network TV show: its getting its own feature film. Even better, the word from advance screenings of the film is that its good. Really good. So to prep ourselves up for it, were going to watch all of the episodes of the original show (in the order they were supposed to be shown in, not the wacky mixed up way FOX decided to air them) on the big screen. And were going to learn how to swear in Chinese too!
