Angel

Page 13 starts with Eve, telling Angel that he always knows what to tell a girl, while he is following her into the lobby. She leaves and Angel tells Harmony, that the security should watch her, while she’s in the building. As he turns around, Cordelia stands in the threshold and asks Angel if that is the kind of people, he’s making business with now and if he has the slightest idea of what he’d done when he made an agreement with the devil. Angel tries to weasel out and says, that she’s acting like a drama queen, because it wouldn’t be like it seems to. Right in that moment the devil, Izzy, joins the two. In fact, it’s a demon how appears to look like the devil. Red skin, horns, pointy ears, little black beard. He’s wearing a suit and an executive case. Angel and Izzy shake hands and Izzy leaves again. Cordy looks at the vampire, disbelieving, what causes Angel to look back puzzled. He explains to her, that Izzy isn’t the devil, but on the other hand he is. Without another word Cordelia turns and leaves.

Just one small side. Cordy is in it! Angel asks Harmony to have Eve followed by security. Cordelia is disgusted by a devil looking daemon that Angel is doing business with. Like she thinks it wrong that he’s dealing with that guy.

As it begins, Angel and Eve are in the W&H lobby. Eve leaves, throwing off a parting line that’s probably the end of a conversation. Angel watches her go, and then calls Harmony over, telling her that he wants Security to keep an eye on Eve while she’s in the building.

Angel turns to see Cordelia in the doorway. She questions him about Izzy, asking him is this the kind of person he deals with now, telling him he’s made a deal with the devil. Angel tells her she’s being dramatic, and tries to make excuses, but as he does, up comes Izzy the demon. Izzy’s appearance is straight out of classic drawings of the devil.

He shakes hands with Angel and says goodbye, leaving Cordy staring at Angel in shock, which confuses him. Then he gets up to speed, and says it’s not what it seems like, trying to make excuses....

But Cordy wants none of it, and turns, and walks away.
