’Angel’ flying off into sunset "Angel," the WB spinoff of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" starring David Boreanaz, got its walking papers as the cast celebrated the 100th episode. The network’s entertainment chief, Jordan Levin, told the troupe: "The work that you all do, I cannot thank you enough. This is something that will last. ... You’ve created a cult here." The early word will give the creators a chance to end the season, and the series, with a bang. The network statement also included a hint that "Angel" may be back in movie form next year. |
