Ashanti, who is expected to return to the studio next month to record the follow-up to her triple-platinum debut, plays a vampire that attacks Buffy, who, well, slays her.
Ashanti didn’t have long to enjoy her five Grammy nominations this past week. The R&B songstress didn’t even get to complete a victory lap talking to the clamoring media hordes on the Madison Square Garden floor. It seems the Glen Cove native had to catch a plane to California to continue work on an upcoming episode of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer." The gig won’t be a regular one, though. Ashanti, who is expected to return to the studio next month to record the follow-up to her triple-platinum debut, plays a vampire that attacks Buffy, who, well, slays her.
