  • yeah, and I heard that David Boreanaz went for the role of Batman as well.
  • wow, and katie holmes is a horrible, horrible actress
  • Well Cordy always thought that Angel was the Dark Avenger ! (season 1 "Hero"). David would have been soooo sexy as Batman
  • I enjoyed the movie. Katie Holmes/Rachel Dawes was the weakest aspect, though.
  • To be honest with you, I think Katie Holmes is a decent actress. Sure, she’s no Nicole Kidman or Gena Rowlands but she’s good for her age. Sarah Michelle Gellar isn’t THAT great of an actress, either. She’s good, for her age just like Holmes but she isn’t "spectacular". Cruel Intentions was a dumb movie with poor acting - the first film of Gellar’s I enjoyed was The Grudge - although I love BtVS. Natalie Portman is a wonderful actress and I think she may have suited the role better (had she really been considering it). I thought Batman Begins was the best Batman and a true masterpiece... by the way, since when was Batman supposed to be humorous? It’s a very dark comic. Tim Burton screwed up the original two with too much humor (although I did enjoy them) but it didn’t capture the real "feel" of Batman.
  • i just saw the movie tonight. it was so good. dark like it was meant to be and believable. christian bale is perfect. katie is ok in it. anyone could have done what she did
  • Natalie Portman is a horrible actress! She sounds like she’s reading aloud when she says her lines. Most of her part in SW3 was cut because G. Lucas finally realized this. Katie has to be a better choice for Batman.
  • Some theatres are showing the "Firefly" trailer before "Batman Begins"
  • I am very much a Star Wars fan but to be honest with you the movies haven’t even been written all that well so the actors/actresses don’t have much to play with. George Lucas, while he is a great director (and a genius) he doesn’t write well all the time. Natalie Portman is an actress well ahead of her time while Katie Holmes is where she should be at this point. Don’t give the actors of Star Wars crap, it is Lucas you should be ridiculing. Not to mention the fact that Padme didn’t have that big a story-line in Episode III anyway, she was pregnant and was the reason Anakin was going bad, the movie was about the collapse of the Jedi and the Rise of the Empire. All Padme had to do was get pregnant, try to talk Anakin out of being evil then pop out two babies and die. End of story.
