Buffy Stars Battle Over Wonder Woman Role

Ex-BUFFY stars SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR and CHARISMA CARPENTER are allegedly competing for the lead role in forthcoming superhero movie WONDER WOMAN.

The actresses - who played BUFFY SUMMERS and CORDELIA CHASE in the hit TV series - are battling for the iconic role after their former boss, JOSS WHEDON, agreed to direct the movie remake of the 70s television show, reports British newspaper the DAILY RECORD.

An insider says, "Joss has told the studio that Sarah is his first choice followed by Charisma. Sarah expressed an interest, but the producers are more interested in Charisma because she is less well known."

I really do wish people would stop reprinting this garbage. This latest nonsense comes from the Daily Record, a disgusting excuse for a newspaper. It’s just a rehash of an old rumour, this time with Joss Whedon’s name inserted into it. It is a complete fabrication. Sarah Michelle Gellar has already stated categorically that the rumours claiming she would put herself forward to play Wonder Woman are utterly ludicrous. Continually printing lies does not make them true.

I think Charisma would look much better as Wonder Woman than Sarah. She has the dark look and the body for it.

Please, let it be Charisma, I don’t care which of the two actresses you like better or whether you’re a C/A or B/A fan, because that’s irrelevant, Sarah just doesn’t have the qualities to play this role like Charisma does.

And if Joss thinks any different, he’s retarded.

Neither Sarah nor Charisma would be good for this role. Sarah is a better actress than Charisma. Plain and simple. I happen to think she is prettier than Charisma (although that is just a matter of opinion, and Charisma is still pretty). I don’t however think she would be a good wonderwoman. Both actresses are way to short. Charisma is like 5’6 not 5’10.

The more important thing though is both actresses have confirmed that this is just a rumor. I think Sarah is ready to do something different like Southland Tales, Charisma is probably more interested in television.

I think it should Be Charisma bc she is is tal just like the REAL wonder woman, Dark haired and she has the body. Sarah she’s too skinny too tiny and boobless, cuz wonder woman (Linda Carter) had a lot a boobs. I love Sarah but we have to see quality here people
