(...) 3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "Surprise" Having spent a season-and-a-half moping about each other with the lovelorn look of a slapped puppy on their faces, Buffy and Angel finally consummate their relationship after an emotionally frazzled, clothes-drenching night of narrowly avoiding death. Sadly for Angel, his moment of true happiness breaks an ancient curse, reverting him back to Angelus, the most sadistic vampire in existence. It’s pretty common for guy to turn into a total jerk once a lady has given up her goodies - refusing to return that phone call, forgetting her name - but to literally turn into a monster is perhaps a step too far. (...)
