Christina Hendricks

Actress and Babe of the Day Christina Hendricks has faced interstellar civil wars and bloodsucking vampires on the small screen, but now she’s facing arguably her most daunting adversaries yet: Horny, ass-pinching advertising execs from the 1960s. Hendricks stars in Mad Men, AMC’s critically- acclaimed series about Madison Avenue back in the day, where she plays the head of an ad agency’s secretarial pool.

Hendricks began her promising career in 2001, when she played a minor role on an episode of Angel. Hendricks would later return to her collaboration with Joss Whedon in 2002, for the writer/director’s short-lived Firefly series. On the cult-followed shot, she played the mysterious Saffron for two episodes.

Since then, Hendricks has made guest appearances on a number of television series like Cold Case, Without a Trace, Las Vegas and Life. Mad Men marks the first time Hendricks has played a regular role on a hit series. The show returns for its second season on AMC this July.
