David Boreanaz - "Bones" Tv Series - It’s all in the bones

TO unravel a murder, you have to strip it to the bone and if you love drama, mystery and crime series, then the new series Bones over ntv7 is definitely not to be missed!

From executive producers Barry Josephson and Hart Hanson comes the darkly amusing drama, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs.

In Bones, forensic anthropologist Dr Temperence Brennan (Emily Deschanel), who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim’s bones.

Consequently, law enforcement asks her to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that standard identification methods are useless.

Slightly at odds with the world, Brennan is most comfortable with her equally brilliant colleagues.

Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin) has created a way to render a three-dimensional crime scene with a computer.

“The bug guy”, Dr Jack Hodgins (TJ Thyne), is an expert on insects but conspiracy is his hobby.

Brennan’s boss is the imposing lab director Dr Daniel Goodman (Jonathan Adams).

Brennan often finds herself teamed with FBI special agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), a former army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes.

Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally but so far the chemistry between them has only played out in a fictionalised account in Brennan’s lastest mystery novel.

To catch Bones, tune in to ntv7 every Fridays at 8.30pm.
