Convention Report from the Bones Panel at SDCC

Okay this is going to be quick because I’ve just got in from Comic Con and I’m about to nip back out for my Harry Potter! But the big guy was there, looking good (hopefully get some pictures up later, but there will probably be far superior shots than mine floating around before then!) Mr B was really hyper, talked a little about Bones, is up for an Angel movie, gave a girl a hug and talked about his car, ice and nipples. ;) Again no doubt someones LJ will be better than any report I can give you. He certainly had some major fan-girls on the right hand side of the audience!

    Hes really Hyper about Bones..which I believe...But the Angel movie sounds like it was thrown in for good luck...I still cant see an Angel movie happening.....Sorry but I cant....

    Yeah, I gotta believe DB’s only throwing in the Angel movie bit because, hey, he’s at a B/A convention! What with a new series starting in the fall and all the time and work that’s involved, doesn’t exactly leave a heck of a lot of time for an Angel gig, even during season break which is only 2-2 1/2 months. I can’t wait for Bones tho. It’ll be good having him back on the small screen.

    awesome.I really believe an Angel movie can happen.if joss whedon stopped ignoring the buffyverse! I don’t think it would do awesome if it were released like a super mainstream movie ...but it could be treated like an indie because how indie was Angel when he was on the tube? I have hope.

    DB’s stance is the same as it has always been.He’s willing to play Angel again but on the big screen and not a T.V. movie feeling it’s time to raise the bar.

    We need to let David and Joss know we are VERY anxious for him to do this. Let’s leave lots of feedback here. Many TV series actors make movies during their off-season. Go for it David and Joss.

    And by the way, why can’t Angel go fight for his soul like Spike did - to firmly anchor it in place no matter how happy he gets!

    That’s actually the plot of the post NFA Angel comic book miniseries that started last month.Issue 2 of 5 came out last week.

    OM freeking gosh. I so want a angel movie, if we can’t have a buffy or Spike we need an Angel one with all the characters. Buffy, Spike, and all the scoobies along with Illyria and Gunn. Please o please, i was so bummed when Angel was canceled i would love it if they made a movie with my 2 favorite vampires.

    Listen up everyone If you watch the episode where Spike leaves town and ends up getting a soul you listen to his words he asks the demon guy TO GIVE HIM WHAT HE NEEDS TO DEFEAT THE SLAYER.So yes Spike did earn his soul but that’s not what he was trying to earn he wanted a way to destroy Buffy and Angel got his soul as a punishment for killing a girl he had to suffer for a hundred years with no way to eat also he can’t have sex with buffy.Spike suffered for 2 weeks and can have sex with Buffy.So what’s worse Spike wanting to kill Buffy with almost no punishment or angel getting his soul as a punishment and suffers for 100 years and can’t even be with the girl he loves.At least Angel wasn’t trying to kill Buffy when he loved her unlike spike.
