Something cool from FOX

Alex asked FOX what the surnames for Kendra and Faith were so that we could use them in the upcoming Watcher Sourcebook.

FOX said Joss/Mutant Enemy never created those names.

So..... FOX asked Joss/Mutant Enemy if they could create those official names for the book which will be carried into future novels, comics, etc.

he’s right "I have no last name sir" I didnt remember right away but whenyou said it she was quite clear about not having a last name in the episode, they never said that about faith though.

I want to know the caractors last names.Not Kendra ’cos she didn’t have one but Faith did (and we would find out anyway if she got her own show!) i think it would be really cool! there has been loads of people over the years with no surnames and id love to know them as long as only Joss Whedon came up with them and no one else.

That is sooo dumb! Kendra doesn’t even have a last name. And does anybody else notice that the Watcher’s Guides frequently gets quotes from the show wrong? Grrrrr.

I thought Kendra didnt have a last name, as she was given up as a baby too become a vampire slayer...She had no memories of her parents/no nothing.So how could she have a last name???

Ya know I could really care less what Kendra or Faith’s last name is but good point brought up.... What the heck was Spike’s last name? Or Angel’s for that matter. And when the heck did he go from Liam to Angelus to Angel? I think it would be interesting to pick Joss’s brain for that info.

It intrigues me to know the names of the characters, but I think we need to leave the BtVS legacy as is. Don’t mess with it fox! It’s perfect just as it is...except for a few bitties, but I wouldn’t want change anyways. It’s not right to think of Faith or Kendra with last names. It makes no sense to me. As for the Liam—> Angelus thing, many vampires change their names, I think usually the sire does if they are close to their victims. Darla’s name isn’t her own, she doesn’t even know her real name...the Master gave it to her and I think she gave Angel his name because of his angelic face...he may have chosen it himself though...now, did Dru change her name??...
