Felicia Day Previews Dollhouse Finale

It appears Eliza Dushku and her Dollhouse character, Echo, have more in common than a good physique – both are virtually indestructible. “Eliza broke her elbow last night doing a scene, and then she showed up again after going to the emergency room,” Felicia Day told TV Guide Magazine the day after shooting the series finale for Dollhouse. “She ‘s a trooper!”

After appearing in the finale of season 1, which never aired on television, Day will now reprise her role in Epitaph 2 – The Return. “They wrap up the storyline in an amazing way and I’m blown away by the writing,” Day says of the Season 2 finale. Like its predecessor Epitaph 1, the sequel is a modern zombie tale set in the future. “I play Mag. She’s part of group of renegades who find their way into the Dollhouse and relive some of the steps of how society degenerated because of the Dollhouse technology. The episode is crazy and wonderful and it’s just so much fun working with such great people.”

The Dollhouse is set to shut down completely after only two seasons, and Day tells us bidding farewell to their current digs hasn’t been easy for the cast. “Obviously people are sad. Acting that the end of the day is a job that you put a little bit of your heart into,” she says. “But they know they’ve made a lot of great episodes and I can’t wait to see what everybody does next.”
