Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Since S.H.I.E.L.D. was first announced there have been endless suggestions for potential cast members and guest appearances. Naturally with the strong following Joss Whedon has, many of those suggestions involve people that have worked with Whedon before. We have put together 5 of our S.H.I.E.L.D. guest star suggestions. For the most part we went with those we know can pull off humor as well as drama. We didn’t include any of the “Avengers” because that would take up our whole list but it would make sense there may be appearances from them leading up to movie releases. We would love to hear who would make your list.

1. Cobie Smulders

We love her wit and willingness to go all in. Chances are this is one we’ll see become a reality, Smulders is in negotiations to appear in S.H.I.E.L.D. as we speak.

2. Samuel L Jackson

When asked about S.H.I.E.L.D. late last year SLJ said he was open to appearing in S.H.I.E.L.D. suggesting "… if nothing else, be like Charlie in Charlie’s Angels. At least be the voice!"

3. Nathan Fillion

While he’s busy with Castle it’s not unrealistic to think Nathan Fillion could pop over from one ABC show to another to make a cameo appearance if not a guest role on S.H.I.E.L.D.

4. David Tennant

Ask any "Who" fan, it’s hard to resist the charm and sexy cheekiness of David Tennant. We already have a couple of Brits in the S.H.I.E.L.D. cast but there’s room for more.

5. Amanda Tapping

When it comes to kick-ass women we immediately think of every female Whedon alum out there but to go Whedon-free you can’t pass up Amanda Tapping: Sexy, hilarious fun, kick-ass.
