An Irish Buffy Convention with Clare and Juliet at 27/04/2003.

ONE of Hollywood’s rising female stars is set to jet into Belfast.

Clare Kramer is coming here with another former star of the cult TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Juliet Landau.

Clare, who played hellgoddess Glory, and Juliet, who played evil vampire Drusilla, will be meeting fans at a day-long Hellmouth event at the Europa Hotel, Belfast on April 27.

Blonde bombshell Clare (28) was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has also starred in two movies - Bring it On and In and Out. She’s a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Clare had a few minor roles in movies such as the comedy ’In & Out’ and ’Bring it On’ before landing the role of Glorificus (Glory), the Hell God in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Clare briefly visited Belfast last year during a signing tour, but will make her first Irish convention appearance at The Hellmouth.

She and Juliet will be on stage taking questions from the audience about their lives and careers as well as signing autographs and posing for photographs.

There will be prize draws throughout the day giving away some great prizes and fans will have the chance to compete in a fancy dress competition as their favourite character, which will be judged by the VIP visitors.

The event will wind-up with a ’Villains’ themed party disco until 1 am.

Juliet, daughter of Oscar-winning actor Martin Landau, will be making her first ever visit to Ireland at the hellmouth. Juliet Landau does indeed have talent in her blood. Born to acting veterans Barbara Bain and Martin Landau. To fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Juliet is known for her portrayal of Drusilla the slightly mad vampire and love of Spikes life until she left him for a slime demon. The Hellmouth will be Juliet’s first European convention appearance and we are honoured to have her here in Belfast.

Tickets are now available at £30 for adults and £20 for children under the age of 12.
