Thank you for visiting my AIDS Marathon Donation Page! As you can see, I’ve already started training for the 2004 Honolulu, which will take place on December 12th, 2004. During this 6 month training program, I expect to log nearly 500 miles! It’’ll definitely be a challenge, getting up at the crack of dawn, my share of aches and pains, and worse of all, having to cut down on all my delicious greasy food and snacks that i so love! no!!!!!!!! But It’ll be an exciting journey at the same time, so it’s worth it.

Here’s a mind blower: Did you know that Los Angeles has the second highest number of people living with AIDS in the nation. And there are more than one million Americans, and 40 million others around the world, now living with HIV — the virus that causes AIDS?

And So the money I raise will benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles. APLA provides food banks, transportation, home health care and other vital services to help keep people alive until there’s a cure.

And! I have made a personal commitment to raise at least $3,000 by Monday, August 30, 2004 - although I hope to raise even more. So any contribution you can make would mean a great deal to me. Contributions are tax-deductible and will make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of people living with AIDS.

In conclusion, I want to thank you for supporting me in this big undertaking. When i hit the road on December 12th to complete the marathon, I’ll know that you helped me and many others along the way. May love and peace follow you always ;)

P.S All donations take about 2 1/2 weeks to show up, so I apologize ahead of time if I fail to acknowledge those of you who have been so kind in your donations.

xoxo

Sincerely, Iyari Limon
