James Marsters will be shooting an episode of the new WB series “The Mountain” later this month. He will play the character of ‘Ted Tunney’ a handsome, charismatic, outgoing former rock and roller. He is a likeable guy who famous for wasting his occasional sober energy on get rich quick schemes. He is the kind of lovable fool who inspires both frustration and compassion.
eeeeew no james don’t do it!!!!!!!!!!!! why?!?!?!!?!!????? that stupid moron network seriously tried to murder the whedonverse! first buffy (thank bob for UPN) AND THE THEY KILLED ANGEL!!!!!!!!!! damn the WB and damn their stupid pointless retarded shows.grrrrr.I’m just bitter..but honestly who isn’t?
I have watched the first 3 episodes of The Mountain because it is on after Smallville (I tape LOST :)). I think the actors are good and some of the plot lines are good but I’m not sure how long they can make that premise interesting. I will certainly keep watching now that James is going on the show as he and Micheal Rosenbaum are 2 of my favorite actors.
I try to stay as far away from the WB as I can (I’m one of the bitter ones damnit). For James I would watch anything just to see his face again on my TV screen.
Am I the only one who is sticking to not watching the wb after the last angel aired, sorry James I miss you and spike alot, but im sticking to banning the wb.
I have confidence that James can make any role excellent. The WB may be very lax in the taste department, but at least they know how good James is, and that he should be on camera.
A job! Good for you James! Only... what exactly is "The Mountain" about? It’s not on German TV and so far I haven’t even heard about it. Anyway, if James is going to be in it - I’ll watch it (Buffy.nu: you gonna bring it online?)
But there have to be other (better and long term) gigs for him to do - hope he’ll get something soon!
I’m glad James has a job, but sadly I will NOT be tuneing in for that. The moutain looks as trashy as the OC and frankly I wouldn’t watch it if it were the last thing on television.
I find this news to be very amusing. An over rated actor, by some at least, in a dismal show, on a network that allowed its former president to destroy it. I guess some may think its a good thing that JM is back on tv, albeit temporarily but I find it interesting that the character he is playing isn’t that far from what he’s known for. Can you say typecast? I can.
what the hell?! why did he have to go for the WB, especially the show I’ve sworn not to watch. It looks better than some they’ve started though. Well, I guess I’ll have to watch it just to see James! It’s kinda the same thing, I tuned into Tarzan :( because of Lucy Lawless, and now I’ll be forced to sit through garbage again just to see my Marsters!
