Jewel Staite - "The Tribe" Movie - A New Role announced

Jewel Staite ("Serenity") has landed the lead role in Avatar Entertainment’s "The Tribe," about five young adults shipwrecked on an island inhabited by savages. Thriller is being directed by Jorg Ihle and produced by Mo Ramchandani, with Jo Bamford executive producing. It’s lensing in Costa Rica.

Thesp’s credits include New Line’s "Cheaters" and Warner Bros.’ "Carpool.
