Lately there has been a lot of discussion about the possibility of a Spike Movie or Spin-off. I would just like to voice my opinion on the subject and say that I think this would be an awesome idea. Buffy and Angel were two of the very best shows ever to grace our TV screens and it stands to reason that a continuation of the Buffy/Angel Verse in the form of a SPIKE ANYTHING would be wonderful.Reunite him with some of the other cast members from both shows and it would be perfect. Spike is one of the most fascinating and popular characters in Television history. His charisma is largely due to the creative genius of Joss Whedon, but even more so to the extraordinary acting of one James Marsters, who literally brought this ‘undead’ hero to LIFE. Personally I could watch James Marsters just read the phone book for hours, and I would be mesmerized, but I would love to see Marster’s incredible talent and gorgeous good looks back on my TV screen or the big screen VERY SOON. Hopefully there will be many new roles in his future. If a Spike movie or Spin off is possible...I am all for it. Not only will I watch it...I will tape it and then later buy the DVDs. I honestly can not say I would do that for anything else on TV today...so come on networks...GIVE US MORE SPIKE and JAMES MARSTERS. I would also like to thank you as a member of the media, for supporting the fans efforts to get this movie and for all the kind words and great press you give Spike, the character and James, the man. Trust me, it is truly appreciated. Kathy

Kathy, Happy to support any card-carrying member of the Sunnydale Saviors department. And don’t despair, there’s still a good chance blondie bear’s telemovie will happen.

Dear Clint, I am excited to read that there is talk of doing a Spike telemovie and that both Joss Whedon and James Marsters are interested. Spike, in my opinion, is one of the most intriguing characters to come out of the Buffyverse. It was hinted at very early on that Spike wasn’t quite like other vampires. Thus making him unique long before Angel got a soul. Now having a soul of his own, he provides an excellent metaphor for exploring the human condition in ways that Joss and the talented people on his writing team have yet to explore. I hope we get a chance to see Spike and several other characters from the Whedonverse again. Jennifer Killingsworth Tallahassee, FL

Hey, it’s another Spike Fan! Are we the target of a mass media hit? Couldn’t afford the pretty van with the banner on the side? Regardless, I’m sure you’re helping with WB’s decision. Fingers crossed.

Sarah, Um - you know Jennifer by any chance?

I have been saying for years that Spike is the best caracter he has so many different dementions to him and that is partly because of the extremely talented James Marsters I know i`m not alone in wanting something worth siting in front of my TV to watch and the WB would finally have a show worth watching in there end maybe bring back there viewers well hears to hoping DO THE RIGHT THING WB BRING BACK SPIKE
  • I heard it. A young girl Buffy (still, she’s not a slayer, probably, 6-8 years-old ?). The tale of Spike who travels in space-time with her. The time travel version of Pinocchio. Is this one of mere rumor or the Fanfic?
  • HELL YEAH!! And I agree—“no time traveling”, and it would have to be post Angel Season 5.
