Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Smallville Up, Buffy Down

Thursday 17 April 2003, by Webmaster

It looks like Superman — even in his younger self — is a bit better than ABC.

"Smallville" earned a 5.2 rating/8 share Tuesday night in the Nielsen Overnight Metered Market ratings. The WB show finished ahead of the ABC comedies "According to Jim" and "Lost At Home." It also finished ahead of the new UPN series "Platinum," which scored a 2.0/5. Fox won the 9 p.m. timeslot with "24" at 7.3/12.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer," on UPN, didn’t fare as well. It scored a 3.1/5, finishing in last place for the hour. "American Idol" on Fox took the hour with an 11.6/19 on Fox.

For the night, The WB finished fifth with a 4.6/7 while UPN had a 2.5/4. Fox won the night with a 9.4/15.
