In this Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff, Angel, the vamp who prefers blondes, reconnected regularly with his on-off nemesis Spike. Spike and Angel had a long and twisted history, but even when they were on the same side they never quite decided whether they were best friends or best enemies. And while both of them had been in love with Buffy, it did often seem that their real obsession was with each other.
