The Coolest Thing You’ll See All Day: Fringe Meets Firefly

Sunday 19 December 2010, by Webmaster

By now, it’s old news that the next episode of Fringe will be titled "Firefly," a reference to the FOX series of the same name which died in the Friday timeslot that Fringe is moving to come January 21. While we’re still a month and two days away from "Firefly," that doesn’t mean fans are just going to wait around and do nothing. The Fringe Network is busy with a campaign to raise Fringe awareness, though some fans are raising awareness on their own. Take, for instance, the following video, which seamlessly meshes the opening credits of Firefly (some of the most unique credits ever) with the characters and scenes from Fringe. Does the song make the same sense with Fringe as it did Firefly? No, but the visuals more than make up for it. It’ll give you a healthy dose of Firefly nostalgia and an even healthier dose of love for Fringe.

Don’t you dare forget to tune into Fringe on Friday, January 21 for the episode "Firefly." In the meantime, here’s a glimpse of Fringe and Firefly colliding for the first, glorious, time.
