Women in Comics Have NOT changed my life - but I think that the comics of today are very different than when I was a young girl or child - For the current generation and the future the comic book world would be in a better position to speak to issues that young women connect with.
Joss Whedon’s work with The Buffyverse, while it did have comic book spin off, is in such a different category and level - it worked on such a high intellectual level and was so intimately connected with what happens in ones everyday world - That is what makes his series a "Life Changing and Affirming" Project - (...)
