Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Reports circulating around the net today suggest that a sequel to the hit ’Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ is on the cards, for release on multiple platforms later in the year.

Vivendi Universal recently entered into a partnership with Fox Interactive, and you can bet on ’Buffy’ being one of the first games out of the door.

CVG recently posted the first details and provisional title for the game; however we’ve managed to uncover a few more details on the game, believed to be in development at The Collective.

We believe ’Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds’ (to give it its full name) will see an alternative Sunnydale used in a large segment of the game; here demons and vampires have taken over the sunny town and it’s up to Buffy to sort things out.

It’s believed that players will have to take on more roles then just Buffy, including Sid the Dummy (remember him the demon string-puppet???)! The sequel is set to feature numerous characters from the show; it’s believed that Robin Sachs and Amber Benson have been brought in to provide the voices of the villainous Ethan Rayne and Tara Maclay.

We’d like to thank CVG for the heads; neither Universal Vivendi or Fox Interactive have confirmed the games existence as-of-yet, so we’ll touch it with a pinch of salt until an official announcement comes our way…
