UIP Australia post "Serenity" Movie 2nd weekend figures

We just thought we’d put up the weekend totals as promised.

The SERENITY figure for the weekend was $553,957, which is a drop of 47% from the first weekend (and that is a better hold than the US figure). Our cumulative total is now $2,106,211.

SERENITY finished at number 9 on the box office list for the weekend.

So the film has slipped, but is still performing well in comparison to the US so thank you all for your support and let’s hope the BDM holds (or even climbs!) as the days progress.
