Before we all jump to too many conclusions about who is or isn’t right, let’s calm down and take a look at things a little more closely.
If it’s correct that this was from the January 12th edition, or even if it’s wrong and it was from the February 12th edition, that was still before the news broke that Angel was going to be cancelled. It’s possible that Sarah was unwilling to come back for Angel’s season finale, or for a "one-off TV special," but at that time there would have been no way for her (or anyone else, for that matter) to know that Season 5 was the last Angel season.
